Pastor

Carl Bentley Whitfield, His wife Marilyn, and their three daughters moved to this area in 1989 and now consider Seminole their home. Carl’s first pastorate was at Ulan Baptist Church located close to were he grew up. From there he pastored: Blocker Baptist Church of Blocker, Oklahoma, First Baptist Church of Calvin, Oklahoma, Harvey Road Baptist Church of Seminole, Oklahoma, First Baptist Church of Maud, Oklahoma, First Baptist Church of Cromwell, Oklahoma and as of July 2006 has been serving as pastor of Highway Baptist Church. He believes the Bible is God’s word and there is no error in it whatsoever. He believes the Church is God’s tool here on this earth to win the lost, minister to those in need, and to lift up the saints.
